For those asking about the TRIN, take a look at the TRIN/Q and /NQ as compared to /ES. I think today was capped and ultimately dragged down by selling in tech. This is backed by the TICK/Q, which didn't register a reading over 265 until almost 3pm EST - that is abnormal.
I have the same question as Jay. Yesterday (Tuesday 11/9) the TRIN performed beautifully as far as a portend for where price was going. Today it basically just sat there, seemingly not in sync at all with the market. I'm a bit confused on the results of TRINs performance.
Hey Tic - can you talk about the TRIN for today's market? It bottomed around 1100 CST and then engaged in a (very) grindy climb contained by 0.8 as the market dumped about 50 points. Apart from the opening 15 minutes 1.0 was never even tickled. How would you interpret the TRIN on a day like today?
