Folks- A quick recap from the session today. I expected the market to remain supported above 4160 IF we saw it open/remain bid above it in the IB with TSLA above 910 and NVDA above 171/172. This was the Scenario 1 from last night with targets at 4200.

Tic - for ES view of level II, NT seems to be light? I can't glean any real information from their DOM or Level II (dom doesn't show anything but standing limit orders, doesn't track buy/sell side at market). Volumetric bars do better. So question is NT or Jigsaw or Sierra for ES?

What do you see as the potential high tomorrow? You never addressed that. You said a D1 close above 4200 could lead to a retest of 4330, but what about tomorrow’s action at the high end?
Hi, in the bearish scenario I read we will test 3990, if I am not mistaken. Are we considering bounce from there? Or bearish weekend leading to bearish next week?
To determine this you have to look at the price action near the levels. Couldn’t have been a more bearish close imo. Thank you Tic! I shorted 4200 as soon as I heard Powell say Pain/Volcker comments. Only ☝️ Tic!

I like to trade SPY off the ES/SPX ordeflow levels, I use these levels to correlate them to stocks and buy either SPY puts or calls as hedges to these trades. Friday my plan was to short 4200, once Powell got going I saw the downside potential so I bought SPY 400p for 8/31, as the market kept selling off I chose take 50% profits at 100% on those 400 and open SPY390p also for 8/31. Towards the end of the day and before the bell I closed remaining 400p at close to 250% and sold half of the SPY 390p at 100% and to make the rest of the trade free. So far according to futures we seem to have gapped down another 30 points so let’s see where these 390s open at , cost on these was .29 and closed on Friday at .55 after I took 50% risk off the table at around .63
