Folks-
In many ways this is the first full trading week of 2025 and it is only now we are beginning to see full liquidity emerge back in these markets.
This was at ample display today when I shared that support level in my weekly plan yesterday morning, from which we saw a monster rip today, ending some 85 dollars higher at time of this post. At time of this post, we are only a handful of dollars away from my target.
As soon as the markets opened today, we took off. Volatility looks sickly.
Now many folks ask me why not just become bearish here at these lows and join a chorus of hundreds of voices on social media calling for an end to this bull market.
Well, I have a methodology which is not based on what I hear or read on the internet, and for me to become bearish here, I have to see some Daily closes below that 57XX level that I shared last night.
I want to assure you whether right or wrong, you won’t get conformity with other indicator based furus from me. I will follow what my tape reading methodology tells me. Now if we close below these levels, I expect another 150 or so points shaved off, not without it.
With the PPI on tap tomorrow, and the CPI the day after, what benefits from potential softer numbers? Well the usual suspects. These are your mega caps. The Tesla, META AVGO, AMDs of the world. The market expects about a 3% inflation rate year over year, so any prints below 2.7-2.8% can be very positive.
For the session tomorrow, my key levels will be 5834. We are trading 5900 at time of this post.
Scenario 1: If we get a dip into 5834, I like to see us retest 5870s.
Now unless the PPI is super soft, I expect to see us balance here for a couple of sessions near the lows from today. A CPI day close on Wednesday then that is above our key weekly level then I think signifies a march higher into 6000-6034.
Dependent on the session context and orderflow, I may share additional level in my chat room below. At this time, that upper edge case scenario remains in play due to overhang of recent volatility.
Regarding these quantum stocks, I personally think this is outright market manipulation. And the fact that these uber wealthy billionaires are even resorting to these unsavory tactics tells me these quantum companies have some inherent value. But such is the anti trust environment in the country right now, you can do little about it. These companies own the regulators in their pockets and can manipulate with impunity. Back in the day you had to either out compete your rivals or buy them out.
