April Orderflow Updates
New LIS post
For new readers, a primer on educational posts. The links below are chronological. I will highly recommend new readers read my posts on volume profile and Tic TOP indicator below.
Every couple of weeks, I publish original orderflow educational content to promote tape reading and price action based strategies. ALL educational posts are FREE for the Substack subscribers. For FREE members, most posts are free with the exception of a few prop ones.
For the brand new readers, here are a few important posts that the readers should become conversant with.
Added on 3/15:
New tool to measure ROC for trend reversal, continuation etc.
My main trading style is Price action and orderflow with very little to no charts and I wanted to create a micro site with these concepts for others who have similar style or starting out. I started documenting the foundational stuff which will mature and get more complex to the microstructure/DOM level as we go along.
Added on 1/31: my main way of not trading against trend and extreme momentum. That is the Tic TOP indicator. Code below for both Think or Swim and Trading view.
Added on 1/16:
Intro to DOM (tape): 1st steps towards mastering tape reading.
A sample of execution : tried to answer few questions on how to leverage the levels.
Added on 1/2: mindset is very important when you do have that inevitable loss. Based on your psychology at that time, you may be able to dig out of it, or dig even deeper.
Below post shares my momentum techniques. I am a momentum type trader rather than buying something making new lows.
The goal is to progressively increase the complexity and end the year with DOM, Delta, Microstructure level concepts. But first the foundational stuff :)
Feel free to share with like minded order flow and price action traders.
